Effer, based in Italy, is one of the largest and most innovative manufacturers of truck mounted cranes. Effer has the largest range of cranes available on the market today, and manufacture the largest truck mounted cranes in the world.

The company produces knuckleboom cranes from 2 to 275 meter/tonne. With up to five different boom configurations and the longest booms in their class, there is an Effer crane for every kind of job.

Effer was first established in 1965.  The company name comes from the Latin verb "effero" which means "to lift". The well-known motto from Archimedes drives the Effer mission: "Give me a place to stand and I will lift the earth."
